The Deezies Afterparty, week 1 (9-16-10)

(cue instrumental - 50 Cent, "In Da Club")

TJ:  This is the Deezies Afterparty!  Ty Jackson here, the host of the only show that takes a weekly look at the Deezies fa Sheezies as they begin another quest for the Fantasy Football Fever championship.  Last year, the season was cut short with a heartbreaking first-round loss to the eventual champions, the Dundee DolphinZ.  This past Sunday, the Deezies kicked off their season with a decisive win over Radioactive Man.  Now, the Deezies return home to take on their Gold Division rival, the Coach Chiquet-led Team Swamp Balls.  C-Deezy fa Sheezy has vowed that this is the year of the Deezies, so will this be the year that they put it all together?  We'll look at last week's game, the upcoming matchup with the Balls, and some related news in just a moment.

TJ:  Thank you for joining us for the return of the Deezies Afterparty, airing in syndication across the continental U.S. on the Deezies Sportsradio Network.  (fade out instrumental) I'm Ty Jackson, and I'm proud to reintroduce the man that puts it all together, the Holla Dolla Skolla... give it up for C-Deezy fa Sheezy!

("applause" sound effect)

CD:  Yo, countin' dollaz each and every zero, y'all, fa sheezy, it's ya boy, C-Deezy, holla!

TJ:  Now, Deezy, I know you've got to be proud about how your team handled itself in week one.  Walk us through some of the highlights.

CD:  Yo, we just do what we do, ya know what I'm sayin'?  It ain't like we had to play a real team in the opener.  Coach J-P, he ain't never did nothin'...

TJ:  (interrupting) He's a former league champion.

CD:  Yo!  He ain't no former champ!  Dude got an asterix next to his name!  Ev'rybody know that Deezy wasn't around that season, and if Deezy don't make it happen, then yo, it didn't happen, on tha real.  Who he play in that so-called championship game?  One a' Coach Trenkle's teams?  Anybody even watch that, yo?

TJ:  Ouch.

CD:  So yo, we hadda put 'em in they places, ya know what I'm sayin'?  We got too many teams claimin' gold on a technicality, on tha real, and we gonna set tha record straight.

TJ:  Talk about Julius Peppers and what happened to Matthew Stafford.  What was going through your mind when Stafford walked off the field?

CD:  Yo, I just wanted to make sure it was a clean hit, cuz I cain't be havin' guys suspended this early in the season, ya know what I'm sayin'?  We ain't a dirty team.  That don't mean that we ain't gonna bring it every week, but we was already killin' 'em.  They couldn't do nothin' on offense, and every time we had the ball it was Meijer time... always open, 24/7!  And yo, much love to my boy Ray (Lewis), cuz he ain't have no support on the other side.  He prolly in the best shape of his life, but he ain't get no rest.  Word life!

TJ:  After the game, the cameras caught Julius talking with Stafford before they left the field.  Can you tell us what they talked about?

CD:  I ain't no snitch, yo!  It ain't like I got wiretaps and hidden mics all over!  Whatever he say is between him and pretty boy.

TJ:  C-Deezy fa Sheezy, coach of the Deezies fa Sheezies, here on the Deezies Afterparty! We're gonna take a short break, and then we'll ask C-Deezy about Sunday's home opener against Team Swamp Balls, and we'll also get his comments on a certain video that's been making the rounds.  You're listening to the Deezies Afterparty on the Deezies Sportsradio Network!

(cue instrumental)

TJ:  We're back with the Deezies Afterparty.  I'm Ty Jackson. here with C-Deezy fa Sheezy...  We'll talk about football again in a moment, but Deezy, let's get to what everyone's been talkin' about, the video.  First, can you give us some background on what led to the making of that video?

CD:  Yo, it ain't no secret that C-Deezy be the ne plus ultra when it come to bein' top dog.  You look around the league, and holla to Coach Townsend over in Dundee and Coach Pool down in Cooter County, because they do they thang, but you ask anyone who they want coachin' they team, and eleven outta ten gonna tell you "C-Deezy," fa sheezy.  Now, some coaches, they know they role, and they let it roll, but you got some others, they ain't be knowin' they place, ya know what I'm sayin'?  And when Deezy had to go away for a few months, the first rat that came scurryin' out the shadows was Coach Young.  Remember that business with -1 Insightful?

TJ:  I remember that.

CD:  Punk shows up in the middle of the playoffs to take credit for a season he ain't have nothin' to do wit'.  But you see, that's how he rolls... always tryin' to find the next set of coattails.  That's why, as soon as I came back to Fantasy Football Fever, he started nippin' at my heels, tryin' to get my attention.  And yo, I wasn't gonna give him the satisfaction.  I had a lot of B.I. to handle, so I wasn't gonna waste time on him, but then people started to talk, ya know what I'm sayin'?  It was all sideways at first, but because I ain't say nothin', they started to get a little bolder, to the point that I had players on my own team wonderin' why I ain't put him down yet.  That's when I went into the studio and cut that record.

TJ:  Right, "Statutory Rape."  And I think people were surprised because they hadn't heard anything like that from you in over a year, but it was vintage C-Deezy.

CD:  And I thought I buried him, yo, but then we took the field and it was a whole 'nother story.  Now, Deezy did quiet him a little, but Coach Young, he kept talkin' AND he kept winnin'.  And in the meantime, we wasn't exactly settin' the world on fire, ya know what I'm sayin'?  But yo, aside from a few subliminals, I ain't have no reason to address him.  But then at the end, he start playin' real teams, and his season start to fall apart.  And instead'a gettin' his own ship in order, what he do?  He start callin' me out again, talkin' about some sorta "skills challenge."

TJ:  That did seem to come out of left field.

CD:  Ya feel me?  It ain't have nothin' ta do with football, and I thought dude was bein' corny, so I was like, "yo, if you serious about this, you gonna have to come up with some money."  Now C-Deezy, he don't need the money.  I'd've used that couple grand to get some nice Christmas gifts for my kids, ya know what I'm sayin'?  Maybe a new chain.  But for whateva reason, he ain't wanna come through with tha loot, so I started ignorin' him.  Deezy went and did my thang this offseason, and that was gonna be that.  But when Deezy came back to the A-Deuce last week, we had somethin' like three days to get ready to play that Sunday, and we had to account for travel, so I was gonna have the team run through some non-contact drills, maybe some 7-on-7s, until some of my crew tol' me that Coach Young was still callin' me out.  And that's when Deezy decided that punk needed to be buried early and often.  We wasn't gonna have a repeat of last season, where Deezy kept quiet and people started listenin to that fool and believin' what he had to say.  No, it wasn't gonna go down like that.  So I put together a film crew, dusted off my acting skills, and made it clear who the top dog is.

TJ:  SO what's next between you and Coach Young?

CD:  Yo, as far as Deezy concerned, it's over.  You had that video, and then you had the Pilots... the SAWYER Pilots... lay a whuppin' on that team out the gate.  I don't care who Young think he be.  He ain't comin' back from that.  He might say a little somethin' before our game this season, but that's just a dead cat bounce, ya know what I'm sayin'?

TJ:  C-Deezy fa Sheezy, squashing the beef!  You're listening to the Deezies Afterparty on the Deezies Sportsradio Network.... we'll be right back.

TJ:  Welcome back to the Deezies Afterparty!  Ty Jackson here, with C-Deezy fa Sheezy... and Deezy, I gotta tell you, it feels real good to be back, but there's somethin' missin'.

CD:  Yo, I feel ya.  But you my man, Ty.  I cain't be doin' no Driveby on my man, yo!

TJ:  What?  No!  I meant that we haven't heard a freestyle from you yet.

CD:  Yo, you puttin' me on the spot, Ty?  Just cuz I been in the studio with Akon and Weezy, that don't mean I be ready to freestyle, yo!  I ain't done a freestyle in years!

TJ:  So we're not going to get a freestyle from you tonight?

CD:  No, man.  It's strictly about coachin' and puttin' the best team on the field.  Word life.

TJ:  OK then.  Well, that's it for...

CD:  (interrupting) Alright, yo.  You done twisted my leg like Billy Armbarr used to do back in the day, yo.  You got a beat ready?

TJ:  Uh, no, but I can find...

CD:  (interrupting) Nah, dawg!  Throw this tape in!  Put it on track 4, and turn up my headset, yo! Yo, yo, yo...

TJ:  C-Deezy fa Sheezy, he still got it!  This is the Deezies Afterparty, live on the Deezies Sportsradio Network!  Tune in this Sunday to hear the Deezies in their home opener against Team Swamp Balls, and then come back next Thursday for another edition of the Deezies Afterparty!  I'm Ty Jackson!  One love!
