EXCLUSIVE: Lightning to strike twice?
FFF Weekly Report Exclusive
ANN ARBOR, MI -- The arrival this afternoon of a private jet from Los Angeles at the Willow Run airport near Ypsilanti has fueled speculation that former Clay is Gay head coach White Lightning is being considered for the Deezies fa Sheezies' head coaching position. The airport is just a few miles from the Deezies Sports Limited headquarters.
White Lightning had most recently been the assistant coach of the former Stanley Cup Champs, helping to lead the team to the championship game. He reportedly had left the team during the offseason in order to spend more time with his family, although later accounts suggested that he may have been forced out by his brother, Coach B-Dub.
One rumored candidate that has presumably taken his name out of the running is former Deezies quarterback Daunte Culpepper, who earlier today announced his retirement from the Fantasy Football Fever. In an open letter, Culpepper said that he was done with football, adding that he would "now focus on the enjoyment of watching some of the greatest athletes in the world play the game I love without the distraction of waiting for those elusive return phone calls.”
