Movie review: THE HAPPENING

This week movie is the Happening. This is a M. Night Shyamalan ding-dong movie. The move is center around Elliot Moore (Mark Wahlberg) a science school teacher in Philly. It is done in a 24 hour or so time frame.  People on the east cost just start randomly start killing them self from some thing in the air. Then Elliot Moore (Mark Wahlberg) and is wife Alma Moore (Zooey Deschanel from the The Good Girl) and fellow school teacher Julian (the unrated John Leguizamo) and Julian kid Jess (Ashlyn Sanchez) leave the big crowed city of Philly to a small, quite farm house in Pennsylvania. It was Director, Write and Produced by M. Night Shyamalan ding-dong.

This movie has a very inserting out look on thing. This being a M. Night Shyamalan ding-dong movie it does have twists like all of him movie do, but major twists is kind of under stated.  The way people killed them self in this movie is abruptly, chilling. The acting in the movie is good by everyone. Mark Wahlberg continues showing why he is a good that is close to being a great actor. The script is good. The dialog is ok, but has few shining points, which you hear in the dry humor they say. The twits with Alma Moore and Elliot Moore seem a bit uneven. The final climax was also a bit off too.

I think overall this is a good, entertaining movie with a little heart. You would think with people randomly killing them self in this movie I out think this is an awesome movie. I guess I am growing up?

I give this movie three out of five gusts of wind.
