Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

I was Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, which was 19 years in the making. The third Indiana Jones was thought to be last one; because of many reasons and here are a few:  the ending with Indiana and his dad (Sean Connery) ridding off into the sun set together; the title Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade; how the movie wrapped everything up. I read and heard a lot of critics bash Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. They must have been true Indiana Jones fans, because this fits right into the whole legendary series. With the dialog, the action, the quick wit, the editing and filming, which make a lot sense considering everyone is back and doing everything they did on the last three: George Lucas as the Screenplay Writer and Executive Producers; Steven Spielberg as the Director; Frank Marshall as the Executive Producers; Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones. They even brought back Karen Allen as Marion Ravenwood  from Raiders of the Lost Ark. She was Indy first love interest. There is a few inside jokes, shots of things and dialog that were in the past three movies. George Lucas saw quoted on this fact by saying, “If it is not broken, why fix it?” The only things they add to Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull one was a little bit of CGI, Shia LaBeouf  and a little Sic-fi, but it all works together very well.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is about where Indy is nineteen years later and Indy going after a Crystal Skull that has powers. They do a really good job of catching us up with the past nineteen years of Indy life. They do not drag in out they do it rather quickly. The only thing about this movie I thought was a little off was the villain (Irina Spalko played by Cate Blanchett). I do not know what it is, but the villain seemed less then, compared to the last three. Blanchett does her normal great acting, but there less angry or less badness in the villain. That is my only black mark against this movie. This movie also has a good message at the end. There is also a few more twists in this one, then the other three.

I am not saying this is a great movie nor am saying this a bad movie. It just fit in to the whole legendary series. I loved this movie, because I love the Indiana Jones series. They did nothing to mess it up in any way, like they did to Star Wars. If you Indiana Jones series. You will love this movie.

I give this five whips out of five whips.
