Charges dropped in pre-game incident
ANN ARBOR (Y!SN) -- A spokesperson for Deezies Sports Limited says the team will not pursue charges related to a bizarre pre-game incident involving their estranged former head coach, C-Deezy fa Sheezy.
Prior to a game between the Deezies and the Ex-Cons, an individual cleared a sideline security barrier near the west 30-yard line during the singing of the National Anthem. He was immediately tackled and restrained by stadium security, who removed him from the field. Police later identified the suspect as fa Sheezy, and charged him with one count of criminal trespass.
It is not clear why fa Sheezy was in the stands, nor why he was attempting to reach the field. However, an online video surfaced yesterday that appears to feature an agitated fa Sheezy heading to an unknown location.
fa Sheezy has been involved in a contract dispute with Deezies management this season and was replaced as head coach by DeShaun Foster. He has not appeared on the sideline since an off-field incident last season, also prior to a game against the Ex-Cons.
